Like our name suggests we strive hard to be “Nava” – always new and young, in the meantime, we make sure that our products and solutions are created to ‘Neet’- ‘Perpetual, or last forever’.
We are the large-scale producer and supplier of recommended, select, high yielding varieties of horticulture crops. Years of experience, supreme quality, a combination of traditional and modern day approaches, scientific study and a zeal to excel has made us one of the best in the field of horticulture.
Further, more we speak about sustained farming, We live by the principle of making life and nature around us beautiful, At Navaneet, we seldom talk in terms of more profits for less. Management
Mr Jayarama Kedilaya
Bsc graduate, a progressive farmer with over 40 years experience with experimental farming, started the nursery in 1986. He has been the driving force behind building the nursery which currently boasts of loyal farmer customers from at whole of south India.
With the purpose of giving the best planting material to farmers, he has developed the nursery as a well established set up that today produces and supplies select high yielding varieties of cashew, cocoa, areca nut, black pepper, coconut, mango and sapota.

Actively serving the society along with farming and running the nursery, he is the founder chairman of Sandeepani School, at Narimogru village, an educational institution which gives affordable quality schooling to over 1000 rural children.
He believes in giving the best to the farmer and while relentlessly working at the farm, he continues to share his vast experience and practical knowledge to whoever visits the farm.
He has received numerous awards and has been recognized on various occasions by various institutions for his contributions to horticulture in particular and the community in general.
Simplicity, Kindness, Commitment and Hard work have been his life principles. He is the driving force behind the success and goodwill of Navaneet Farms.
Mr Venugopal SJ
Business Management graduate with about 8 years of corporate experience in business development and training across various sectors.
Naturally drawn back to farming, today he is partnering with his father Mr Jayarama Kedilaya following his footsteps in experimental farming and expanding the scope of farmer services at the nursery.

1986
Started Nursery
Started Nursery activities with production of “Mangala” Arecanut seedlings.
1988
Started Cashew Production
With the establishment of National Research Center for Cashew (now DCR) at Puttur, Mr Jayaram, then a progressive farmer in the area developed regular engagement with the center and its farmer centric activities. With the support and guidance of its then Director Dr Bhaskar Rao, we established plantation of select, recommended cashew nut varieties of Cashew and then large scale production of the same.

Recognition
Shri Navaneetha Plantations and Nursery got recognized by NRCC (now DCR).
1994
Got Certified
Certified regional nursery for cashew by Directorate of Cashew and Cocoa Development, Cochin (DCCD).
1996
National Award
The nursery received a National Award from ministry of Agriculture for contribution to cashew development in the country.
2003
Got Certified
Certified regional nursery for Cocoa by Directorate of Cashew and Cocoa Development, Cochin (DCCD). Producing select varieties of cocoa grafts and seedlings recommended by the Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI).
2007
Approval & Certification
Nursery approved and certified National Horticulture Mission, Government of India.
2015

Licensee for production of “Kerlashree” nutmeg variety from Indian Institute of Spices Research, Calicut (IISR)
